RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 28 2017 SUCCESS BY THE SPIRIT

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 28 2017 SUCCESS BY THE SPIRIT Date: TUESDAY, 28TH NOVEMBER Topic: SUCCESS BY THE SPIRIT Pastor Chris Message: And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15 ). A man isn’t a success because other people say he is. A long list of academic, political, or business achievements isn’t essentially the definition of success. That a person is famous and celebrated by men doesn’t mean he or she is a success before God. A successful life, one that pleases God, is that which achieves those things that God has called the person to do. Thus, the first thing is to know what God has called you to do. There’re people that are praised in this world and acclaimed to be successful, who will eventually end up in hell. Some are already there. It doesn’t matter what anyone says about you, the only one who matte...

CHARLES STANLEY DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 28 2017 HEIRS TO A GRAND INHERITANCE

CHARLES STANLEY DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 28 2017 HEIRS TO A GRAND INHERITANCE Date: November 28 2017 Topic: Heirs to a Grand Inheritance Message: Ephesians 1:9-14 Did you know that you are an heir to unimaginable wealth that will never fade away? If you’re a believer, then God has an inheritance reserved for you in heaven. In fact, He says you have already obtained it. (SeeEph. 1:11.) Your right to this treasure is not based on anything that you’ve done, but on the one to whom you belong. If you are a child of God, then the inheritance is yours and will be “revealed in the last time” (1 Peter 1:4-5 ). No one can take our inheritance from us, because God has guaranteed it by sealing us with His Holy Spirit of promise. The transaction is complete and merely awaits the ultimate consummation when everything will be brought under the headship of Christ. This seal shows His ownership and authority over us, and one day our full redemption will come. Naturally, we all want to know what...

JOYCE MEYER DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 27 2017 YOU’RE NO SURPRISE TO GOD

JOYCE MEYER DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 27 2017 YOU’RE NO SURPRISE TO GOD Date: November 21 2017 Topic: You’re No Surprise to God Message: Do you ever feel like God is disappointed with you? I used to feel this way until one day He said, “You know, Joyce, you’re no surprise to Me. I knew what I was getting when I got you.” Think about it! God knows the end from the beginning, and all the days of our lives are written in His book. Every decision we’re ever going to make, good or bad, God already knew them before we ever showed up on planet Earth. He already knows today every word in our mouth that is still unuttered—even what we’re going to say a year from now. Sometimes we go around thinking that God is so disappointed with us all the time. It’s true that we make mistakes. And we’re not supposed to be lighthearted about them—we need to take them seriously. But in spite of our mistakes, God has hope for us and knows He can change us if we’ll stay close to Him. God’s not disappointe...

JOYCE MEYER DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 28 2017 YOU MUST DEVELOP PATIENCE November 28, 2017

JOYCE MEYER DAILY DEVOTIONAL NOVEMBER 28 2017 YOU MUST DEVELOP PATIENCE Date: November 28 2017 Topic: You Must Develop Patience Message: When you and I say to God, “Change me,” we need to understand what we’re saying because all of the changes we need to make won’t happen overnight. Instead, what God is going to do is give us an opportunity, through opposition, to grow as we change. James 1:4 tells us how important it is to have patience when we’re changing and facing opposition. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit that only develops and grows under trial, and it’s something we need. Scripture tells us that when we have it, we’re perfect and entire, lacking nothing. However, there’s just no way to get it without going through something in order to receive it. If we really want to be victorious Christians who serve God and make a difference in the world, then we are going to have to go through some challenging things. The devil will try to discourage you every chance he gets, but Go...
